Today is a special day. The fact that God wanted Sofia’s baptism and Andy’s birthday to coincide today gives me the certainty that The Lord is with us and will have us by his hand through this journey.

Some days ago, without saying months ago, I thought about this moment. There are so many things that I want to tell you Sofia. First of all the happiness that your birth has given me. We waited for a long time, and when I saw you and had you in my arms, I thanked God and Virgin Guadalupe, for all the petitions I made. Through you and through Andy my relationship with God becomes stronger, and my vision of life has changed. Grandchildren have teached me to be a true Mother. They have taken strenght from my interior. They have given to my life the happiness of living, not because my life was sad, but as children grow, we tend to stay alone; but you bring to my hart enthusiasm and sweetness to my future existence.

Ana Paulina & Andres, the sacrifice of not having you near, has paid off with my grandchildren. I thank you with all my heart your strenght and your example to all of us. We’ve learned through you the love of life, your dedication, your patience and above all your example that as a couple you’ve given us.
